One Way Yoga
“Providing faith-based yoga and inviting, inspiring and equipping people of all ages to experience God more deeply through the practice.”
We meet at the Living Grace Mission Center (18023 Oak St, Ste B) twice a week. See our schedule below:
- Saturdays, 9-10 a.m.: Gentle flow class that welcomes adults of all ages and abilities.
- Monday, 5:30-6:30 p.m.: Yin Yoga, a gentle class that welcomes adults of all ages and abilities.
Our instructors are Living Grace members Joan Wilson and Kathleen Schmidt. Each have acquired their yoga teaching certificate, 200 RYT hours, and are in pursuit of their 500-hour certification.
Meet our instructors:
“You are enough. There is nothing you need to do, fix or change. You are worthy.” This mantra summarizes my heart for yoga.
I received vinyasa training at Lotus House of Yoga and am certified by Yoga Alliance. My classes nourish the body and soul through mantras, movement, music and Scripture. I aim to welcome and encourage while facilitating a connection to God and to one another.
I was in a car accident years ago which left lingering back pain. I heard yoga would be good for that. I attended yoga classes at YogaMed and my back was strengthened and I learned how to protect it.
I encourage people to try yoga for its health benefits, and for its holistic approach to reach the body, mind, and spirit. I graduated from One Tree Yoga and am certified as a RYT with Yoga Alliance. I have a passion for yoga and I look forward to sharing it. Namaste (the light in me honors the light in you).
