“Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity.” 1 Timothy 4:12.

I grew up in Grand Island, Nebraska, the son of two high school math teachers.  Growing up going to church, Sunday school, and youth group, I feel as though the strong youth leaders I had shaped me into the man, father, and leader I am today.  After high school, I attended Wayne State College in Wayne, Nebraska and earned my Bachelor Degree in Human Service Counseling. Upon graduation, I moved to Bellevue and began working as a social worker/teacher for a youth program in inner-city Omaha.  My wife Sarah is an elementary school special education teacher.  We are proud parents to our three children, Kolben, Sophie and Lia.

Living Grace has an amazing energy that sets it apart from other churches.  I love the warmth, smiles and welcoming nature of the congregation and the staff.  My family and I look forward to growing in our faith in Jesus Christ as well as sharing God’s message with the youth of Living Grace.
