When Jesus walked this earth he lived with a purpose. He lived his life intentionally focused on following God, teaching people about God’s will and ways and serving others. His life purpose made a difference for the entire world.
When you live a life on purpose, you don’t let life just happen to you. You’re not simply a victim of circumstance but can act to change your life, as the Holy Spirit leads. However, living on purpose means you also willingly give up control of those areas of your life to God that are beyond your control. Living on purpose is living wisely each day in that moment between doing and being and taking control and letting go.
Each Sunday morning in this series we will follow in Jesus’ footsteps and see, from various stories in the book of Mark, how he lived a life on purpose and how he calls and inspires us to do the same.
Our daily reading bookmark will cover the stories in Mark that are not included in the Sunday morning sermons, so you will be able to read through the entire book in about three months. Our Daily Grace text message devotions, based on the bookmark passages, will inspire you each day to live on purpose.
Download the Living On Purpose BookmarkCome each Sunday (or listen to the podcast) and learn how Jesus lived on purpose, and how you, with the inspiration, power and guidance of the Holy Spirit can do the same.
