ThanksLiving – Ephesians 1:15-23

“I have not stopped thanking God for you. I pray for you constantly.” (v. 16)
Paul reminded the Ephesians about what matters to God: people. He also wrote to them about the presence of that which exists beyond what we can see, and the power God has over those heavenly realms. And he writes about the importance of the church, as we as Living Grace are one important part of the body of Christ.
Perhaps this thanksgiving passage can encourage you and I to live out our faith by:
1. Praying “constantly” for someone who the Spirit places on our hearts.
2. Living with the assurance that, thankfully, there is more to the things of this life — there is a spiritual realm where God rules with power.
3. Live knowing that the Holy Spirit has called you to this church at this time and this place for this time of spiritual growth, worship, prayer and Communion, and that you are part of the larger body of Christ that fills the world.
