Branching Out 2011 is the mission focus of Living Grace Lutheran Church.

In 2 Corinthians 13:11, the Apostle Paul writes, "Be joyful. Grow to maturity. Encourage each other. Live in harmony and peace. Then the God of love and peace will be with you."

We believe that Jesus is calling us to mature and deepen in our faith, and grow as his followers. As we grow, we become more aware of the opportunities the Holy Spirit opens to us to "branch out" and make a difference in our church and in the world.

The focus area of our church's ministry this year is found in the following strategic objective:

Develop, implement, and communicate ways for individuals to move from 'participants in' to 'owners of' the mission and ministries of Living Grace.

The following three strategic initiatives will provide direction for how we accomplish our strategic objective:

• 1. Deepen member integration. Living Grace encourages members to find practical ways to actively live out their faith.
• 2. Growth in financial stewardship. For Living Grace to continue to live out its God inspired mission, the level of financial giving by our members will need to increase.
• 3. Growth in numbers of people who affiliate with Living Grace. The foundation of Living Grace is the people. As more individuals affiliate with Living Grace, our ministries and outreach efforts become even more effective.
